Jupiter Hills Club, one of Florida’s most prestigious private golf clubs, required comprehensive renovations to their staff facilities to improve functionality, comfort, and workflow for their maintenance and operations team. The existing restrooms, locker room, and breakroom had become outdated and undersized, failing to meet the growing needs of the club’s dedicated staff. Roughneck Ranch was brought in to deliver a complete facility transformation that would bring these essential spaces up to the standards expected at a world-class club.

Our assessment revealed key operational challenges that were impacting the club's staff facilities:

The women’s restroom lacked adequate space and needed an additional toilet to accommodate staff needs during peak operations

The men’s locker room was insufficient in size, unable to provide individual locker space for the full maintenance team

Neither restroom facility offered shower access for staff working long hours in Florida’s demanding climate

The breakroom layout created bottlenecks for employees during meal times, with no direct exterior access and outdated cabinetry and surfaces

Aging flooring, tile, lighting, and ceiling systems throughout the staff areas were overdue for replacement

The absence of air curtain systems at entry points allowed insects to enter the facility, compromising the comfort and cleanliness of staff spaces

Roughneck Ranch developed a comprehensive renovation plan that addressed every aspect of Jupiter Hills Club’s staff facility needs, transforming outdated spaces into modern, functional areas that reflect the quality and professionalism of the club itself.

Restroom Renovation & Expansion The women’s restroom underwent a complete reconfiguration to maximize available space, creating a larger, more comfortable facility with the addition of an extra toilet to meet daily demand. Both the men’s and women’s restrooms received new shower installations, providing staff with the ability to clean up after long shifts maintaining the club’s championship courses. All restroom spaces were finished with new flooring, tile work, modern lighting, and updated ceiling systems to create clean, professional environments.

Men’s Locker Room Build-Out The men’s locker room was redesigned and expanded to accommodate 40 individual lockers, ensuring every member of the maintenance team has dedicated personal storage space. The new layout was carefully planned to maximize the use of available square footage while maintaining comfortable circulation throughout the room.

Breakroom Modernization The staff breakroom received a complete overhaul, featuring custom-built cabinetry paired with durable quartz countertops that provide both a professional appearance and long-lasting functionality. A key improvement to the breakroom involved cutting a new opening in an exterior wall to install a door, creating a direct flow path for employees coming and going during meal times. This simple but impactful modification eliminated the bottleneck that had previously slowed staff during their breaks.

Building-Wide Improvements Every staff area received new flooring, tile, lighting, and ceiling treatments to create a cohesive, modern look throughout the facility. Air curtains were installed above all exterior doors to maintain a comfortable, pest-free environment — a critical consideration in South Florida where flying insects are a constant challenge. These systems provide an invisible barrier that keeps flies and other pests out while allowing staff to move freely through doorways.
